Back to Please Fix Clanker

Privacy Policy

Please Fix Clanker is designed to keep the extension narrow: it reads GitHub PR context in your browser, stores extension preferences locally, and copies prompts only when you ask it to.

What the extension does

Please Fix Clanker is a Chrome extension for GitHub pull request pages. It helps you copy review comments and nearby PR context into a prompt that you can paste into the AI worker or task queue you choose.

The extension runs on GitHub PR pages and works with content that is already visible in your browser, such as review comments, thread replies, PR metadata, and nearby code context.

What is stored

The extension stores your prompt and button preferences locally through chrome.storage.local. These settings stay in your browser profile unless Chrome sync or your browser configuration moves them elsewhere.

When you click to copy a generated prompt, the selected context is written to your clipboard. The extension does not store copied prompts in a backend service.

Network behavior

The extension does not call a Please Fix Clanker backend, does not call AI APIs, and does not include extension analytics.

The public website uses DataFast analytics to understand website traffic. That website analytics script is separate from the Chrome extension behavior.

Sharing and sale of data

Please Fix Clanker does not sell personal information.

The extension leaves control of copied prompts with you: after the prompt is on your clipboard, you decide where to paste it.
